Harbor Lodge is perhaps the finest waterfront retreat available on Puget Sound. On an estate setting, down a private drive, this low-bank waterfront estate is set on over 1.5 acres overlooking Holmes Harbor, with extensive grounds, garden areas, and even has it's own dock for launching kayaks, watercraft or to provide shuttle to your yacht. This property is for the discriminating who are used to the finest and want an inspiration getaway to a wonderful island world.
The home features a huge greatroom and gourmet kitchen that faces the water and opens on to a spacious deck for outdoor dining, lounging, or enjoying the hot tub. This main living area, with vaulted ceiling, is accented with five varieties of wood trim adding to the lodge appeal and is built around a beautiful river rock fireplace. There is even an unique separate built-in grill and theatre level system with stereo, VCR, and DVD's for entertaining. The kitchen is without peer, stocked with every amenity for a true gourmet experience, and a private chef is available is you so desire.
There are five bedrooms with themes that range from european country antique to Wasatch mountain lodge. The master suite is in a word "amazing". It is the perfect place to spend a romantic weekend with it's european inspired custom marble bath with bidet, private sitting area, two TV's, and private lounge with fireplace that opens to both a waterfront viewing deck and private english garden in back. There are four other elegantly appointed bedrooms, a wine room and utility room for your convenience.
There is a comfortable den complete with computer and printer and a large family/media room with bigscreen TV and full theatre level sound system. For the younger guests, there is also an XBox game system. To adventure on to the water, kayaks are available yearround, as well as a dingy and speed boat during the summer (for an extra fee). There is excellent beachcombing, clamming, crabbing, mussels available right out your front door, and just a block or so away is an executive waterfront golf course. We even have extra clubs if you forgot yours!
